  • Aids Digestion

The full list is available in the following article

This article also goes more into depth of each of the properties of Curcumin, and gives some tips for healthy consumption.

This week’s Three Healthy Facts:
  • Did you know that most of our stock standard foods are way to high in Omega 6? The lack of the essential Omega 3 leads to chemical imbalances in the brain, which can lead to many mental illnesses, like depression and anxiety. Remember to eat foods like fish, nuts and seeds, and try to cook with plant oils where you can.

  • Just 15 minutes of exercise a day can change how you live! This doesn’t mean 15 minutes of agony! It can just mean going for a walk, or maybe a jog depending on your fitness level. Either way, try to make sure this exercise is making you breathe deeply, almost to the point where having a conversation can be difficult. This form of exercise stimulates our cells into renewing and replacing, and spreads oxygen through our body. This doesn’t only help our fitness, but our mental health too!

  • Fasting doesn’t just have to be to lose fat! This one may seem a little out there, and it is! Fasting is a difficult thing to do, and not for the faint of heart, so if you don’t feel ready, that is absolutely fine. However, fasting is very likely one of the best forms of detox. As soon as your body realises it’s not receiving more food (2-3 days), the liver and kidneys start making an effort to get rid of all those built-up toxins. Imagine them like a filter that is having dirty water poured through it, after a while, the dirt starts to build up, but when the water stops flowing the filters can be emptied for later use.
Stay safe and take care of yourself,
