Ingredients

  • 100g dates, soaked in hot water for 10-15 minutes
  • 20g cacao powder
  • 2 tsp Nutra Nourished Instant Coffee with Turmeric
  • 50-70ml water
  • 50g almond flour
  • 20g coconut flour
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 50g chocolate (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Begin by soaking the dates in hot water for 10-15 minutes to soften them.
  2. In a food processor, combine the soaked dates, cacao powder, coffee & turmeric blend, almond flour, coconut flour, and coconut oil.
  3. Process the mixture until smooth and well combined, adding water gradually as needed to achieve the desired consistency.
  4. Once the mixture is smooth, shape it into approximately 9 larger coffee bean-like shapes and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
  5. Melt the chocolate in a microwave or double boiler until smooth and creamy.
  6. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  7. Place the coated truffles back on the parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate coating is set.
  8. Once set, indulge in the decadent goodness of your Mocha Date Truffles!

Storage

  • Store the truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. However, with their irresistible flavor, they are unlikely to last that long!
